Cafe Kosmos in Munich

Nice shop with great staff and ambience. Unfortunately mostly quite full, which in turn speaks for the Cafe Kosmos ;-)

Great place with cheap alcohol, if you can get over the fact that it is almost always overcrowded.

Very informal and quiet place near the Munich train station, if you are lucky to find a place it is a very safe and relaxing place to spend the evening, perhaps waiting for your train or night bus, as in our case. The restaurant has two floors, and precisely, the upper floor is ideal for having conversations and spending a nice evening with friends or acquaintances. I absolutely recommend, the staff have always been nice to us and the prices are average!

Cool meeting point near the main train station. Ideal for a small beer in between.

There is really enough choice on the menu and no matter what you order, it tastes good!

DDR lives. I came out astonished, freightened, but this is how it should be.

Reserved a table and had a good night. Staff were friendly until it came time to pay. For 2 people (5 drinks and 4 shots) the bill came up to around 64 euro. I was confused so I asked for the receipt. Suddenly (after about 5-10 minutes of him messing around with the till the server realised he added the bill wrong and realised it should have been 44 for us 2. Offered no apology and just gave us 20€ back. We still tipped over 10€ regardless. He did not apologise for the mistake, and did not say thank you. They have machines which add the totals for each tables, I work in Gastronomie. I undsrstand how it works. Always ask for a recieipt, regardless whether here or any other restaurant.

Hammer cult shop for all types of people. Prices are suitable for round trips and above all there is always fresh apple vodka - nowhere else so great!

Great place to be

Adhering to corona rules is of course not reprehensible and important. But when you walk past - before you even get the idea of ​​going anywhere - the "bouncer" is stupidly stating that you should leave here, you didn't even begin to understand what "hospitality" means. The management of the said rules does not necessarily require unfriendliness.

Cafe Kosmos offers a friendly atmosphere and drinks at an unbearable price. The only downside is the very limited amount of seating available. Sometimes you can take a chair from downstairs and bring it upstairs if their is room. You really need to get creative with seating here.

Since the first time we went there, favorite place to meet a friend, smile for a stranger and have a drink. The guys working there are special people- they know what they do and always put their guests first. We love you Cafe Kosmos. Thank you ♥️

Chilling place!

Totally brilliant little café in the middle of Munich. The charm is that the premises have never been renovated or painted and everything is still in its original condition. The decor also matches the age of the café, which in turn defines the special ambience.

Its old style bar, but it is very dirty..

Went on an early sunday, when it was supposed to be closed. It had a nice atmosphere with good music, and a friendly guy behind the counter. The quailty of the beverages where among the best I've had in town, and that at decent prices. Will go again!

Apple vodka is very genious invention

The freshly made apple juice with vodka was very nice. The staff are friendly, attentive and quick to serve. However even on a weekday evening it was far too busy, to the point where it could be considered dangerously overcrowded. There was no space to move around or comfortably drink. Upstairs was incredibly hot and stuffy, in need of ventilation.

Super cool pub, make sure you get a shot from the dollhouse thing!

Perfect for a couple of drinks. Very nice hipstery place, great drinks, nice people, great music upstairs - overall great vibes. The staff speaks perfect English.
